Fearless

Having read numerous Max Lucado books in the past, I thought I knew what to expect in Fearless, but I was pleasantly surprised by the increased depth and challenge that is put forth in this work.
Lucado does an excellent job of focusing in on and explaining several passages of scripture about fear. The use of various Psalms, the story of Jarius, and Peter walking on water all point to how Jesus desires for us to deal with our fears. My favorite chapter from the book is entitled "Make-Believe Money." The perspective that is expressed about our world and the worries that we carry around with us put in proper perspective in this chapter.
A study guide is included at the end of the book. It has many thought provoking questions to push you even further away from your fears and well placed scripture verses to meditate upon while ingesting Fearless.
Max Lucado has spoken a word of encouragement and direction during a time of many fears and doubts. Fearless is not just another in a line of books by Mr. Lucado, but a well executed work that if read will change the way that you interact with your fears.
