Tasty Tuesday: PB Crave

I like peanut butter. It's one of my favorite treats. So you can imagine my excitement when I find peanut butter companies that are doing something awesome with not only their product but with their funds as well. PB Crave is one of those excellent companies that does both! I was so excited when they gave me the opportunity to try their product so that I can tell you what I think about it.

First of all, it's all natural, sweetened with honey and there are four flavors to choose from, but honestly, how can you choose a favorite when they are all so tasty. Let me tell you what I like about each of them.

Razzle Dazzle is a great blend of raspberry flavor with dark and white chocolate chips. It's like dessert on a spoon for me. I hide it from the others because I don't really want to share it.

Cookie Nookie has a subtle cookie dough flavor, almost a rich vanilla. I used it in a recipe that I'll share at the end, it was good.

Coco Bananas has a distinct banana flavor. It's kind of reminds me of laffy taffy banana flavor. I think it would go really well in some pancakes or banana nut muffins.

Choco Choco is peanut butter with dark and milk chocolate. It's not overly chocolaty, just right.

One of the things that I really like about all these is that even though they have chocolate and flavorings, they have less calories per serving than my store brand peanut butter! But here's the really great part about this peanut butter...

A minimum of 2% of the profits from every jar of PB Crave goes to Project Peanut Butter. Great tasting and helping out where they can. Right now, PB Crave is available by ordering through their website. And I just saw that they are running a limited time promotion for free shipping if you use the code PBLOVERS. And if you want to be able to find them in your local Walmart, hope over to Get On The Shelf and give them a vote!

Alright, now that you've read through my love of PB Crave, here's my recipe for

Reduced Carb Peanut Butter Bars

1 cup peanut butter (I used Cookie Nookie)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup Fiber One, crushed
1 egg

Spray an 8x8 pan with cooking spray. Mix all ingredients together. Spread in pan. I happened to make a cross hatch design with a fork. Bake for 10 to 20 minutes until cooked through. Let cool, slice into squares and enjoy.
