Rejoice cd

Rejoice (Women of Faith Worship)
If you have been to a Women of Faith concert and enjoyed the music, then you will enjoy the cd, Rejoice. It is a compilation of songs the Women of Faith worship singers. Titles include Beautiful Redeemer, You Brought the Sunshine, and Great is Thy Faithfulness. Rejoice has been recorded in a studio, so don’t expect the force of the chorus of women you would get at the conference. The sound is clean and enjoyable.

My favorite song is Forever Reign. Not only is the message of the song one that I truly believe, but the instrument solo at the beginning of the song is just beautiful. I have listened to the songs several times and grow to enjoy Rejoice the more times I hear it. I have cried numerous times as I have been brought into a state of worship with the help of these wonderful young women. The songs all flow together to create a seamless worship experience. The words of each song are included in the cover booklet, along with photos of the singers performing.

Rejoice will make a wonderful gift for your girlfriends that might need a little encouragement or who just enjoy praise music.

Stories from the Kitchen: Taste and See

I celebrated my birthday last weekend. It was wonderful and the leftovers left me with a question or two. Find out what they are and how I'm currently answering them in this week's podcast. Our Daily Question from Ink & Willow

Did you ever have a book that you love so much because it's just right? That's Our Daily Question for me. It's a three-year journal to share with your significant other. How does that work? Well, each calendar date has a question and divided space to record your answer three times.  There is a great mix of fun, serious, thought-provoking, and heartfelt questions. Generally, the only ones that we've skipped over have been the ones that talk about all the time. It's been nice to be able to pick it up with morning coffee and have a conversation ready to go. Some we've even used at the dinner table to have family discussions.  It's a wonderful little keepsake, one that will have much more value when you finish with it than when you start. If you're looking for a special gift to give a newly married couple, yourself, or even a pair of love birds that have been married for over 20 years, this is a great choice.  I received a copy of this book from Ink & W

Project 52: Shiver me dufuses

This date I pulled out a puzzle that I had bought for Joel years ago.  I put up a little camp table , and even devised a system to keep the pieces in place with some fabric, so we could roll it up and stow it.  I was all ready to go and then the reality of the puzzle set in and I realised, I don't like puzzles.  I was already frustrated and worn out by the darn thing and we were only a mere few minutes into working on it!  Instead of getting upset, we changed plans. The puzzle was abandoned and Joel went out for a shamrock shake from McD's and two cherry pies.  We played some MadLibs .  The one we bought for Hannah today was Pirate themed and the story that was the funniest included a peg elbow and a pet pencil sitting on your shoulder saying "Shiver me dufuses!" We even had a joke book that we'd picked up for Hannah and read a couple of terrible jokes to one another while shuffling cards for cribbage. A fun night full of laughter and green shakes.  Well, I&#
